I usually meet up once a week with the nicest, most diverse group of ladies (both in age and backgrounds) - the group is officially Knit Knight but they put up with my embroidery or other stitching.

I wish I could knit, the lovely sweaters, scarves, hats and socks they create are more amazing than anything you could ever buy.

I take that time to enjoy working with needle and thread because it fills a need that painting or collaging just don't fill. I have been very dissatisfied with the results of embroidery the past several months and finally decided to try something new (for me) - combining hand stitching with my collage work.  Here are the first few I've done
